If students want to download the FOSS eBooks app onto a home device, refer them and their families to the "Interactive eBook App Information" on the Home/School Connection section (for any module you are using with the class).
#Ibook application download for mac
The 2.2 version of iBooks for Mac is available to download from the developers website, but we cannot guarantee that the download is free of charge and still available. Students do not have to log into FOSSweb in order to read the books through the app. Download and open the content on your Mac, open individual books and organize entire browsable libraries, highlight passages, attach notes, etc. Students can download the books, but you may want to do this before class to save time. The books displayed are specific to the modules associated to a class and modules for which a premium access code has been entered on FOSSweb. Select the FOSS Science Resources Interactive eBook(s) you want to have students view in the app. Once the FOSS eBooks app is downloaded, log into the FOSS eBooks app using the Class username and password set up through your teacher account. Be aware that each book will take between 200-400 MB of space on your device. Select the book you want to download and view.
